CEREMONIAL GUARD MOUNT

Members of the public are invited to watch the Ceremonial Guard Mount outside the Convent on Saturday 3 July. The Guard will be found from I Company of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and the Parade Commander will be 2nd Lieutenant Jose White. It will be the first time that 2Lt White has commanded a public parade since he was commissioned at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in December 2009.

Music for the Guard Mount will be provided by the Band of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment and the Pipes and Drums of the London Scottish Regiment. The two bands will march on parade from the direction of the John Mackintosh Hall shortly before 12 noon.

The salute will be taken by His Excellency the Governor, Vice Admiral Sir Adrian Johns.
