New Promotions at No2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Sqn, ATC.

In the local Air Training Corps Squadron, Pilot Officer Justin Felice has been promoted to Flying Officer and Civilian Instructor Perry Kellner has been promoted to an Adult Sergeant in recognition of the work they do with the young people of Gibraltar.

Flight Lieutenant Ivan Caward, commanding officer of No 2 Overseas (Gibraltar) ATC commented, "I am delighted with the promotions. This is a true testament to the level of commitment that our staff have in providing services to the youth of the ATC and Gibraltar".

Wing Commander Tony Hipperson, Officer Commanding Norfolk & Suffolk Wing, of which No 2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Squadron, Air Training Corps, is a part of, commented that he was "delighted by Flying Officer Justin Felice's recent promotion to Flying Officer which was just recognition for the excellent work that Flying Officer Felice is doing on the Squadron for the young people of Gibraltar". Flying Officer Felice joined No 2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Squadron in January 2007 as a Civilian Instructor and was commissioned into the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve (Training) branch in the rank of Pilot Officer in October 2007. The Wing Commander was also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Perry Kellner as a Sergeant in the Air Training Corps. Sergeant Kellner joined No 2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Squadron as a Civilian Instructor in February 2009 and has recently been appointed to the rank of Sergeant-Air Training Corps.

The Wing Commander then commented that "No 2 Overseas (Gibraltar) Squadron is an exciting and dynamic uniformed youth organisation which provides a wide and varied range of activities for young men and women between the ages of 13 and 18".
