7 Days Gibraltar Gibraltar Flag
4th September 2010

On Friday 2nd July Breast Cancer Support Gibraltar holds its third Lunar Walk in order to raise awareness about breast cancer and raise money for breast cancer care services in Gibraltar. The Lunar Walk starts at midnight and this year we are very privileged to have Mayor Olga Zammit officially launch our charity walk when the clock strikes twelve.

Registration is £5 and starts at 9pm on the night, so just turn up and join us, you can also download the registration form off our website and bring it in on the night already filled in. In order to raise breast awareness, please wear a 'fun' bra or bikini-top, on its own or over a t-shirt (men included), or wear a customised or pink t-shirt. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and if you like, take a torch to add to the illumination, we also recommend you take a warm top in case it's cool on the walk.

The 5 Km walk starts from Casemates, moves along Winston Churchill Avenue to the Airfield, follows around the perimeter of the Western end of the runway, then out into Bayside Road and ends at Ocean Village where there will be entertainment, food and drinks. We look forward to celebrating our third Lunar Walk with you so please come and join us.
