The Alameda Opens its doors to the new Governor

His Excellency the Governor Sir Adrian Johns was invited by the Government to visit the Alameda Botanic Gardens on Monday 23rd November. The Governor was met on arrival by the Hon Ernest Britto who, as Minister responsible for the Environment hosted the visit, and by Mr Albert Bruzon the head of the Department of the Environment.

They visited the gardens in general, the Open Air Theatre and the wildlife park. Dr John Cortes, Director of the Botanic Gardens was also present.
