MISS GIBRALTAR 2009 AT THE MISS WORLD FINALS

Miss Gibraltar 2009, Kaiane Aldorino, recently left Gibraltar to participate at the Miss World Finals being held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

During her first few days under the Miss World Organisation, Miss Gibraltar spent several days in London seeing the capital's landmarks and visiting the World Travel Market. She also participated in a charity dinner in aid of the Variety International Children's Fund that managed to raise over $450,000. After participating in the first round of the talent section all contestants travelled on a three day visit to Abu Dhabi.

In Abu Dhabi all contestants stayed at the stunning Yas Hotel overlooking the new Abu Dhabi Grand Prix circuit. Miss Gibraltar also visited Abu Dhabi's main tourist attractions and took part in an exclusive fashion show wearing golden outfits designed by South African designers. Kaiane will spend a month participating in photo-shoots, fashion shows and visiting South Africa's landmarks as well as attending the FIFA World Cup Draw on Friday 4 December. The highlight of Kaiane's trip will be the Miss World Final to be held at the Gallagher Convention Centre on Saturday 12 December 2009.
