DARTS - GIB'S No.1 BEATS WORLD No.3

Dylan Duo, Gibraltar's No.1 ranked darts player has been away again last weekend participating in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) Players Championship's in Nuland, Holland.

On Saturday's event he beat Karsten Kornath 6-2 and Carlos Rodriguez 6-4 to set himself up for a tough 3rd round tie against World No. 3 and current PDC Premier League Champion James Wade. It was a tight game but Dylan showed he deserves his place among the world's darting elite by drawing level on 5-5 by starting with a 180, 177 and checking out on double 2 thus setting up a decider. Dylan started the final leg powering ahead with a 140, 137 & 100, leaving himself 124. Wade was too far behind by this point and Dylan checked out with a bullseye sending Wade out of the tournament.

Unfortunately Dylan could not keep it up, losing to Chris Thompson in the fourth round.

However Dylan has plenty of reasons to be proud of himself having taken such a prestigious scalp and secured a last 16 finish.
